OkiDocky is an app for iPhone and iPad that helps you remember where you put things. It is designed to collect as little as possible: there is no sign-up, no account, and your items stay on your iPhone.

What data the app handles
- The items you add (what, where, collection, emoji, notes) and your collections. They are stored only on your iPhone. We do not receive them and cannot read them.
- GPS location, only if you turn on "Save location" for an item (an OkiDocky+ feature). Location is requested at that moment, through the iOS permission prompt, and saved with the item on your iPhone. You can turn it off at any time, including from iOS Settings.
- Face ID: if you turn on the lock, the check is performed by iOS. The app only receives the result (unlocked or not), never your biometric data.
- iCloud sync (an OkiDocky+ feature): your data is copied to your personal iCloud through Apple. It stays in your account; we have no access to it.
What we don't do
The app has no ads, uses no analytics or tracking tools, builds no profiles, and does not sell or share data with third parties.
Export, import and sharing
When you export a backup, import a file or share an item, you choose where it goes (Files, Messages, Mail…). From then on, the file is subject to the rules of the service you chose.
Purchases
The subscription and the "Forever" purchase go through the App Store. Payment is handled by Apple: we never receive your card details or your name, only confirmation that the purchase is active.
Support
If you write to support@okidocky.app, we will use your email address and what you tell us only to reply, and keep them only as long as needed to handle your request.
Website
okidocky.app is hosted by Hostinger (servers in the European Union) and uses no profiling cookies or tracking tools.
Launch notice: if you leave your email in the "Notify me" form, we store it together with the site language and the date of your consent. The legal basis is your consent. We will use it once, to let you know that OkiDocky is available on the App Store; to send it we may use Mailchimp (Intuit), acting on our behalf. After the notice we will delete the address, unless you choose to subscribe to our newsletter. You can withdraw your consent and ask for deletion at any time by writing to support@okidocky.app.
Cookies
okidocky.app uses no cookies: no technical, statistics or profiling cookies. It uses no analytics or tracking tools, advertising pixels or third-party content (such as videos, maps or fonts loaded from other servers), so we do not ask for any consent when you open the pages.
The only information the site may store on your device is the language you choose (Italian, English, German, French or Spanish), only if you tap the language switcher, and the fact that you closed the cookie notice, so it isn't shown again. It stays in your browser's storage, is used only for this, and is never sent to us or anyone else. You can delete it at any time from your browser settings (website data).
The "Download on the App Store" link takes you to Apple's website: from there, Apple's privacy and cookie rules apply.
If we ever use statistics or marketing tools that require consent, we will turn them on only after asking you through a dedicated notice, and we will update this page.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual items in the app (and empty them from Deleted), or remove everything by uninstalling OkiDocky. If you use iCloud, you can also remove the data from your iPhone's iCloud settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction, deletion or restriction of, or object to the processing of, any data we hold about you (for example your email). Write to support@okidocky.app. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy: garanteprivacy.it).
Children
OkiDocky is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect data about them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
